Sektörlere göre bakıldığında ise özellikle şehir dışından müşteri alan iş kollarında dijital varlığın daha güçlü olduğu görüldü. Gümrük müşavirliği, uluslararası nakliyat, otelcilik ve yazılım sektörlerinde web sitesi oranları yüksek seyrederken, kuaförlerde yüzde 4,5, fırınlarda yüzde 3,2 ve eczanelerde yüzde 3,1 gibi oldukça düşük oranlar dikkat çekti.

Broken down by sector, digital presence proved strongest in lines of business that draw customers from outside the city. Website rates ran high in customs brokerage, international freight, hospitality and software, while strikingly low figures stood out elsewhere: 4.5 percent among hairdressers, 3.2 percent among bakeries and 3.1 percent among pharmacies.

İşletmelerin Google profillerindeki dijital adreslerini sınıflandıran ve 4.167 alan adını teknik denetimden geçiren araştırmanın ana bulgusu, kentteki her dört işletmeden üçünün (yüzde 75,7) bağımsız bir web sitesine sahip olmadığını gözler önüne serdi.

The study, which classified the digital addresses on businesses' Google profiles and put 4,167 domain names through a technical audit, laid bare one main finding: three out of every four businesses in the city (75.7 percent) do not have an independent website.

Toplam 14.842 işletmenin Google profilinde kendine ait bir web adresi bulunmazken, 13.294 işletmenin profiline hiçbir bağlantı eklemediği tespit edildi. 1.548 işletmenin ise kendi alan adı yerine üçüncü taraf platformları kullandığı anlaşıldı.

A total of 14,842 businesses had no web address of their own on their Google profile, and 13,294 of them had added no link at all. A further 1,548 were found to be using third-party platforms in place of a domain of their own.

İl genelinde bağımsız web sitesi sahipliği ortalaması yüzde 24,3'te kalırken, ilçeler arasında belirgin farklar gözlendi. 4.106 işletmenin incelendiği Akdeniz ilçesi yüzde 37'lik oranla dijitalleşmede başı çekti. Akdeniz'i Yenişehir (yüzde 33,4), Mezitli (yüzde 29,7), Tarsus (yüzde 20,5) ve Silifke (yüzde 14,7) izledi. 969 işletmenin tarandığı Mut ilçesi ise yüzde 10,5 ile listenin son sırasında yer aldı.

Province-wide, independent website ownership averaged 24.3 percent, with marked differences between districts. Akdeniz, where 4,106 businesses were examined, led on digitalisation at 37 percent. It was followed by Yenişehir (33.4 percent), Mezitli (29.7 percent), Tarsus (20.5 percent) and Silifke (14.7 percent). Mut, where 969 businesses were scanned, came last at 10.5 percent.
